Crochet Hats!

I have been a very busy girl throughout the month of December. I have been on a craft frenzy. As soon as I finished one project I was asked to make another for someone for Christmas. It's nice to make the spare change, but it can get so tiring at times.

I thought I would share with you all the cute crochet hats I have been crocheting. There are some other projects I have been doing as well, but will share them in separate blog posts in the near future.

Green!! I think this one turned out extremely cute. I love the flower on it!

I couldn't resist making a Super Mario hat for Sparrow for Christmas! The "M" isn't sewn down in the picture, but I did finish. It is wrapped and under the tree!

Another Christmas gift I have made for someone special! Can't say who, though!

Pink for Chickadee. I wound up taking the pink flower off and put a purple one on. I then made a purple hat and put a pink flower on it. Adorable!

A navy hat with a belt across the front as opposed to the flower. A friend of mine wanted one for his daughter, but said she wasn't the frilly type. We decided this belt option would be perfect!

So, what do you think? Let me know in the comments!

Christmas Cookies By Mom...

....and kids!

We had a lot of fun making some cookies. I have these really fun cookie stamps that you dip in colored sugar and then stamp the cookies with them! The kids loved it! Every time I make sugar cookies I can't help but think of a cute kids song. It is from a tape called, "Precious Moments: The Brightest Star". I am going to try to use a few of the words here, so, here it goes:

Mounds and mounds of ooey, gooey, spicy, icing!

Give me, give me what I'm longing for!

Open that oven door! Now do yourself a favor and grab a cookie neighbor...

...every single flavor is sure to be your favorite one.
